The Founders of Adventure: António and Elsa Gavinho

António and Elsa Gavinho are the driving force behind Exotic Nature Trails, a company that blends adventure with sustainability to create unforgettable tourism experiences. António, Founder and Chief Adventure Creator, was born in Lisbon in 1968. After nearly 20 years of experience in management, he decided to pursue his passion for travel, sports, and the mountains. In 2005, he and his wife Elsa launched PNT, focusing on adventure trails that combine hiking, biking, culture, and culinary experiences.

Elsa, founding partner and coordinator of special projects, brings deep academic knowledge to the business with a PhD and master’s degree in Tourism, focusing on nature tourism planning. Her mission is to ensure that sustainability is at the core of the company’s operations. She believes that travel is a privilege and a powerful tool to empower communities, improve lives, and foster respect between cultures. António and Elsa lead together with a commitment to providing authentic and sustainable experiences, contributing to a more responsible and connected world.
