RONDA AND THE WHITE VILLAGES
Join us on an adventure road bike tour to explore Ronda and the White Villages. The roads leading to Ronda are smooth and challenging, and the breathtaking beauty around the city is simply captivating. Our adventure begins in Antequera, and we will soon set off to Ronda, a mountain-top town dramatically perched on a deep gorge (El Tajo).
We will spend each day riding in a different location around Ronda, on a walking exploration of the Natural Parks of Sierra de las Neves and Sierra Grazalema, and visiting the White Towns of Andalusia. This will give you a glimpse into the traditions and way of life of the people. The mountain pass of Las Palomas is one of the most sought-after roads on the tour. It is tough but offers the most spectacular view. Finally, we will conclude our adventure in Malaga, where you can relax and enjoy the laid-back beach life.

DAY 4
Ronda Loop to Pueblo Pitufo
The surprisingly Blue Town.
After a nutritious breakfast it is time to leave again and today you will find that the hills are everywhere. The green vegetation will be present throughout the day as the four biggest hills approach you, the biggest uphill being 680m. You will continue to find beautiful valeys and towns but the most charming has to be the blue town on the hills that everyone calls Smurf Town. The Belgium comics with the blue human-like creatures created by Peyo, which made so many children happy, is the theme of this town, and visiting will be as fun as reading the comics in the past.

DAY 5
Ronda Loop to Setenil de las Bodegas
The White Towns of Andalusia.
It is a pleasure to be able to explore Sierra Grazalema National Park once again. It’s the perfect opportunity to see more of the typical white villages of Andalusia while riding through the forest and mountainous terrain. Right after your first big hill, you will find the beautiful Zahara-El Gastor Reservoir that holds fresh water and changes our scenery for a while until more villages come along.
In Olvera there is the opportunity to visit the old castle and, to the end, just before the uphill that takes us back to Ronda, we have the municipality of Setenil de las Bodegas, famous for having building their white houses below the enormous rocks and walls of the mountain. Amazing sites to see!

DAY 6
Ronda Loop to Grazalema & Las Palomas
A road to remember…
You have experienced by now a good part of this riding paradise, with kilometers of smooth surfaces and almost no traffic to bother you, but the best is yet to come since today you are riding to Las Palomas. You will ride the northeast área of Grazalema National Park and this is where you will find the 800m uphill that takes you to the top and provides the most stunning panoramic view. Also remember that today is your last day in Ronda, this fascinating ancient city. If, by chance, you haven’t visited the new bridge – “Puente nuevo”, the Arab Baths, the Palaces, Cuenca Gardens, or the many squares and medieval streets just hurry up and go have some fun in town.

DAY 7
Ronda to Málaga
Málaga here we go!
After a week on peaceful and quiet roads, it is time we ride to the big city. We leave Ronda behind and roam in the direction of El Burgo, bypassing some areas of the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. We continue in the mountains and go downhill until Coín, a cute little town that tells its history through the tiles in town walls. Now we almost don’t have altitude and pedaling downhill it’s easier on the legs, some more kilometers and we are in Malaga where we can refresh our feet in the cool water of the Mediterranean. You did it! And it is time to celebrate with an amazing dinner! Congrats!!!
